Jeff
Hudak
Jeff is
a student at Kent State University,
majoring in Architecture. When he is not on the range or in
class, Jeff enjoys rock climbing, snow boarding, and backpacking. Jeff
likes living in Ohio because he is only two hours away from Camp Perry.
Jeff has several shooting accomplishments in Ohio, including Ohio Junior
Service Rifle Champion, Ohio Regional Junior Service Rifle Champion and
Junior Long Range Champion. After six years as a member of the Ohio Junior
Rifle Team, he is now its Assistant Coach. He received his Distinguished
Marksman badge during the 2004 CMP Awards Ceremony. Making this team was one of Jeff's personal goals. This is
his first time on the Under 21/25 Team. |

Matt
LaBonte
Matt is
a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He is a member of
the Marine Corps Rifle Team and an armorer. His hobbies include
hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, and running. Matt likes the fall
foliage in Connecticut and the great spots to hunt, fish, and shoot.
Matt wants to someday become a psychology teacher. Matt is proud to
have made this team. He is a two time Connecticut Junior Highpower
Champion. Matt was a medal winner at the 2002 Interservice Rifle
Championships, and he coached the winning Connecticut Whistler Boy at
the 2002 National Championships. This is Matt's first time on the Under
25 Team. |

Robin
Maly
Robin is
majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Wisconsin --
Madison. She has an interest in public speaking. She would like to
continue to shoot as her life and career unfold. Robin's Wisconsin
awards include High Woman in 2000, 2001, and 2002. She also won High
Junior in Wisconsin in 1999 and 2001. She was the WI High Junior Long
Range Champion in 2000, and High Woman Long Range in 2002. She received
the Palma Achievement Award in 2001. Her National trophies include 2001
Air Force Cup winner and Rumbold Team match winner. In 2002, she won
the High Power National Woman and Junior Championships. This is Robin's
first time being on the Under 21/25 Team.

Ty
Cooper
Ty is
currently working, with plans to attend a two-year gunsmithing and
general education program at Susanville Junior College. In his spare
time, Ty enjoys shooting, fishing, hunting, and the mountains of
California. He is the co-holder of the National Junior Offhand record
and a Distinguished Rifleman. At the US Nationals in 2000 and 2002, Ty
made the President's Hundred. He has received the Palma Junior
Achievement Award. Ty said that he fulfilled a personal goal when he
qualified for this team. This is Ty's first time on the USA Under 21/25
Team. |

James
Fox
James is
working and attending high school. He likes to play pool, bowl, and
camp. James has won numerous regional and state awards in Oregon and
California. He is the co-holder of the National Jr. Standing record.
Some of his highlights from the USA Nationals are: 2000 Intermediate
Junior National Champion, Crescent Cup winner, and a gold medal in the
NTI Match. He was also the first Junior to win the Erdman trophy.
James was on the winning Whistler Boy Team in 2001 and 2002. In 2002,
he won the Golden Eagle Trophy for High Junior in the NTI, the
Pietroforte Trophy, Intermediate Junior Service Rifle National Champion,
High Civilian Competitor, and qualified for the President's Hundred.
This is his first time to be a member of the US Under 21/25 Team.

Sam
Ohlinger
Sam is a
Junior in High School. He is involved in many sports, including
baseball, cross-country, paintball, and hunting. Sam plans to attend
Ohio State University and become an attorney. He is happy to live in
Ohio because he is close to Camp Perry. Sam's shooting accomplishments
include making the Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association's Junior Highpower
Team and winning a silver medal in the 2001 John C. Garand Match. He
placed 1st in the Marksman class with a service rifle at 1000 yards
during the 2002 Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association Long Range Matches.
This is Sam's first time to be on the Under 21/25 Team. |

Ted
Hoham -- Logistics
Manager
Ted is a
freshman at Concordia Lutheran High School. He lives in Ft. Wayne,
Indiana and hopes to attend the United States Naval Academy to start a
career in the Marine Corps. His interests include shooting, studying
and instructing martial arts, and playing the piano. His shooting
accomplishments include receiving the Palma Achievement Award and
consistently beating his uncle in long range rifle matches. He has been
shooting competitively for two years.

Cheeseman -- Coordinator
and Head Coach
Ian is
the owner of a public relations company. He lives with his family in
Niantic, Connecticut. His family includes his wife Holly and his five
children. Ian's main interests include shooting, photography, music,
and military history. His major shoooting accomplishments include
shooting on the 1999 Goodwill Team in South Africa and shooting on the
Connecticut State Rifle Team. He was the Team Captain of the 2002 USA
Goodwill Team to Bisley, England. He has been shooting competitively
for nine years. Ian's main desire is to help promote junior shooting in
the United States. Ian offers this team his great organizational
skills, promotion and sponsorship of the team, and his love and
determination to help this team succeed. |

J.J.
Jackson
J.J.
lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife Jayne. He is a pilot for
American Airlines. He flew 64 operational U-2 missions in support of UN
peacekeeping efforts in Korea and the Middle East, Operation Just Cause
in Panama, and Operation Desert Storm/Shield in the Persian Gulf. He
has competed twice in the CFRC at Connaught, once in the Imperial
Meeting at Bisley, and many times at the US Nationals at Camp Perry. In
1998, he won the Aitken Trophy for Palma Rifle and in 2002, he won the
Tilton Cup at Connaught. He hopes his many nieces, nephews, and
godchildren will inherit his shooting enthusiasm and will become members
of the USA Young Eagles in the future. |

Nancy
Tompkins-Gallagher
Nancy is
a Registered Nurse and lives in Prescott, Arizona with her husband Mid
and her daughters Sherri and Michelle. Her main interests include
shooting, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Her
major shooting accomplishments include: 1998 National Highpower Rifle
Champion, three time National Long Range Champion, National Highpower
Woman Champion 13 times, 7th overall at the 1999 World Championships,
member of five Palma Teams, and holder of numerous national records.
She has been shooting competitively for 27 years. Her hope is to help
promote junior long range rifle shooting in the USA. |

Patty
Mead
Patty is
a 4th grade teacher from Cedar Falls, Iowa. She shot smallbore in
college and now practices long range rifle shooting with her husband
Bob. Patty accompanied her husband to South Africa in 1999 for the
World Championships and also to Bisley, England in 2000 for the
Millenium Meeting. Her main interests include genealogy research,
reading, and traveling with her friends and family. Patty has spent
much time and effort in helping this team to succeed. She feels that
participation in shooting sports builds positive character for the
future leaders of our country. |
